As most anyone who knows me understands, I really enjoy pictures! One of the reasons I wanted my own website is so I can post some of my favorite pictures of (and for) my friends and family. Below are some links to several different events. I hope you enjoy them. I've tried to list the pictures in topical then chronological order.
Weddings:
On May 16, I got engaged to the most caring, wonderful man in the world! Dave is a true gift to me from God. Share in our joy by checking out our engagement photos. Before we celebrated our own wedding, Dave and I were able to attend his younger brother Brian's wedding in San Diego. Check out the view by the bay in Brian's Wedding photos. Then, on October 17, I enjoyed my Bridesmaid's Luncheon at "Sixth at Watkins. " We also practiced our wedding at First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed a rehearsal dinner at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The big day finally arrived--October 18--and our parents, family, and friends joyfully celebrated God's uniting us as one in marriage. This past year (wow how time flies!), my sister Amanda got married. See how beautiful she is in Amanda's photos. I also, just for fun, posted the picture Dave took of me when I got the call from her July 3 announcing her engagement. See how much Dave & I enjoy celebrating birthdays in big ways by viewing Curt's Birthday photos. Celebrate God's gift of His only son, Jesus, with our family as you enjoy our Easter 2003 photos. See how Dave conspired with our friends to host a surprise birthday party for me in Ev's Birthday photos, and finally celebrate Emmanuel with us in our Christmas 2003 photos and Christmas 2004 photos.
As many of you know, we made a HUGE move to Iowa almost three years ago. God blessed us with the opportunity for Dave to work at Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont company here in Iowa. We are thankful he did! Since many of you would have to travel too far to visit, we thought we'd give you a partial tour in Our Apartment Photos. To get the full view, you'll just have to visit.
We enjoyed our second wintry but "mild" snow-filled season here. See how beautiful it was by viewing our Iowa Snow Pictures. Last summer, we attended Pella, Iowa's "Tulip Time Festival." Holidays/Parties:
We're still big on celebrating birthdays, even if we're far away from family and friends. We truly went south of the border when we threw a Mexican Fiesta for Dave's first birthday outside of the South. See how in Dave's Birthday photos. Yet again, Dave conspired to surprise Ev for her birthday this past year. See how some friends of theirs helped him celebrate this Southern girl's move to Iowa in Ev's Surprise Birthday pictures. While in Iowa, we have celebrated the Lord's blessings of two and a half wonderful years together as man and wife. Rejoice with us and view our First Anniversary photos and Second Anniversary Photos.
Be thankful with us as we enjoy the great state of Texas in our Thanksgiving 2005 photos, and see how Ev decorated for Christmas this past year in Christmas 2005 photos.
We really enjoy one another, and it's obvious. Share in our joy with our Valentine's Day pictures. We also joined a Lutherna church on Easter Sunday. Celebrate our resurrected Lord with us in our Easter 2006 pictures. He is risen! He is risen INDEED! Hallelujah!!!
Also, be sure to check back after June. We're going on a three-week trip to Eurpoe and should post some pictures (Lord willing) after we return. As anyone could imagine, yes, we're excited!
